Irys is an app that increases a smartphone camera's ISO to allow its users to create videos even in too-dark scenarios. Up until now, phone cameras were just not able to provide quality videos in low light without a lighting attachment.
The Situation: We needed to get Irys’ message across in a way that was unique and made sure that our audience believed that the app and technology really worked.
The Solution: Using social media paid advertising to hit a targeted audience of heavy smartphone users we created a comparative tour around the city of Toronto. We used two smartphones: one using Irys and one not. A custom camera mount was developedto display both phones. The video delivered a clean and concise message to our client’s audience along with visual proof of Irys’ value proposition.
The Result: Irys gained over 100,000 users within the first three weeks.
